Theft at Pa Mboob’s house

Two young men: Omar Jammeh and Modou Faal, were on Wednesday arraigned before Principal Magistrate Moses Richards of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, for allegedly breaking into the house of Pa Samba Mboob, alias Pa Mboob, a Gambian musician and stole a DVD and television set, valuing D5000, contrary to the Criminal Code, Laws of The Gambia. After the charge sheet was read to the accused persons, they pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against them.

At that juncture, Principal Magistrate Moses Richards then revoked their Police bail, and granted them a court bail to the sum of D10,000 each, with a Gambian surety.

Magistrate Richards subsequently adjourned the case to October, 3rd 2007.
