Mariama Kunda Residents to Return to Court

Two residents of Mariama Kunda in Kombo North will early next week appear before Buba Jawo at Bundung Magistrates’ Court.

The duo; Musa Marong and Ebrima Mbye were last Monday given bail in the sum of D15,000 each and are expected back in court this Monday.

According to the facts of the cases, as narrated in court, Musa Marong on August 17 of this year stabbed Ebrima Mbye with a broken bottle and, as a result, caused him actual bodily harm. Ebrima, the facts say, had also on the aforementioned date and in Mariama Kunda, destroyed the maize and cassava field of Musa.

They denied the charges and will return to Bundung Magistrates’ Court this Monday for the prosecution to open its case.
