Ron Mango clinch Bakau knock-out title

Ron Mango FC beat Sea View 1-0 to emerge as champions of the Bakau nawettan knock-out competition on Friday at the Independence Stadium.

Seedy Gassama’s first half strike was all what Ron Mango needed to land the coveted trophy and in effect make up for their league final defeat a fortnight ago. Having earlier lost to Linguere FC in the nawettan league final, Ron Mango could not afford to fail in another final.

The Bakau New Town boys earned their consolation dream when they defended well their lone goal advantage throughout the regulation period against a fancy Sea View, who despite fascinating the spectators with their beautiful football, left the pitch with their tails folded between their legs.
