Sea View have climbed up to a comfortable place on the GFA Division One League table after a convincing 2-0 win over neighbours Africell-Sait Matty in their week three fixtures on Saturday.
Goals from Mamat Saine and forward Pa Modou Ngum helped the Alagie Sarr’s boys to earn yet another vital win as they continue their unbeaten run in the top flight. The result means Sea View are at the joint-top with seven points from three matches. Contrastingly, it was Sait Matty’s second defeat in three games as they currently lie at the bottom table with only a point. Despite the fiery start however, Sea View coach Alagie Sarr insists his side are not looking at the league title.
“I am happy that we are getting good results, but that does not mean that we are gunning for the league title - instead we want to cap a good finish before eyeing the title next season when we will be in our third year of the top flight.” Sarr said.
