NISA Host Senegalese Counterparts on Saturday

The National Interdepartmental Sports Association (NISA) will host their Senegalese counterparts on Saturday July 28, 2007 in an international Football match at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Speaking in an interview with Pointsport yesterday, Saihou Jarjue, NISA Secretary General, said the 30-man delegation from Senegal would be arriving in the Gambia on Friday but an advance team is expected in Banjul tomorrow Thursday.

Mr. Jarjue added that the first match on Saturday would oppose Gamtel Female Team and Prisons Female team in the final of President Jammeh’s Female Football tournament sponsored by the Hon. Speaker of the National Assembly, Fatoumata Jahumpa- Ceesay.

“The kick off of the female match would be taken by Hon. Fatoumata Jahumpa- Ceesay whilst Secretary of State For Youth, Sports and Religious Affairs, Sheikh Omar Faye, would take the kick off of the match between NISA Selection and their Senegalese counterparts,” he revealed.

The entrance is free for the general public.
