One Abubacarr Bah, was on Monday paraded before Magistrate Sagarr Jahateh of the Kanifing Magistrates Court, charged with impersonating a public officer.
According to the particulars of the offence, Abubacarr Bah in October 2008 at Serekunda presented himself as an officer of the National Intelligence Agency.
When the charge sheet was read to the accused in Wollof, he pleaded not guilty.
The presiding magistrate granted him bail in the sum of D10,000 with one Gambian surety. Inspector Fatty appeared for the IGP. The case was adjourned to 28 January.
