D22,000 bail bond for accused

Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbacke of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, on Wednesday granted bail to one Ensa Jammeh, to the amount of D22,000,   and two Gambian sureties, one of whom must have a landed property, valued at that amount.

According to the particulars of  offence, on or about 1st September, 2007 at the GTTI, Ensa Jammeh, the accused failed to report a theft case, of which he was told by Ali Kassir. The charge he denied.

Sergeant 870 Touray represented the IGP in the trial.

Hearing continues on 11th September, 2007.
