Department of State for Works Gets New Secretary of State

According to news monitored over GRTS last evening, the Gambian leader, Yahya Jammeh, has with effect from yesterday, 3rd October, appointed Mr. Lamin Bojang as the new Secretary of State for Works, Construction and Infrastructure. Mr. Bojang replaces Mr. Kebba Sanyang, who was given his marching orders barely a week ago.

It would be recalled that Mr. Sanyang was re-deployed to the said Department of State from that of the Attorney-General’s and Secretary of State for Justice only to be sacked few days afterwards.
