Jambur Junior Nawettan Reaches Climax

The 2007 Junior Nawettan in Jambur has finally reached its final stage after several weeks of intensive competition.

In the first semi final played last week at the Jambur Football Field, Black Pool thrashed Africell 3-0.

Sorrie Bojang scored two goals while Lamin Ara Bojang netted the third.

In the second semi final, spectators saw New Castle battling with Aston Villa.

It was a tough encounter, which could not produce a goal up to the end of the ninety minutes.

New Castle emerged victorious on the penalty shootouts 3-0.

Dobally Jatta, chairman of Jambur Youth and Sport Committee, graced the game, which was marked by some hitches.

Meanwhile the final between New Castle and Black pool is set to take place after the Holy Month of Ramadan.
