Judgement Expected in Drug Case

The Brikama Magistrates’ Court is expected to deliver judgement in the case of the two youths that were arrested in a drug police raid in Bakoteh.

The duo was formally charged at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court for being found in possession of a prohibited drug for the purpose of trafficking. 

According to the court records, Momodou Sillah and Sadibu Camara were arrested by a contingent of men from the National Drug Enforcement Agency on 9 July 2007, and in possession of 4kg and 90g of cannabis sativa for purpose of trafficking.

They pleaded guilty to the charges preferred against them and would know the outcome of their case soon.
