Prison’s Boss Arrested

David Colley, Director General of the Gambia Prisons Department has been confirmed arrested on Tuesday night by the state security agents.
According to unimpeachable sources, Mr. Colley was arrested at his resident in New Yundum, shortly after closing from work.
Sources revealed that he is undergoing detention at the State Central Prisons at Mile II in Banjul.

Reasons surrounding David Colley’s arrest have not yet been established publicly. However, sources revealed that Mr. Colley is being held in connection with alleged office malpractices, contrary to rules governing his duties.

It is not yet confirmed whether any charge would be preferred against him.
