MFDC convict appeals against judgment

Ebrima Vex Colley, the second accused person at the recently concluded criminal case involved 9 MFDC rebels at the Banjul Magistrates Court over by Justice Yamoa, has filed in an appeal suit at the High Court. Mr Colley was appealing against against the judgment of senior magistrate Kayode Olajubutu. Mr Colley and his co-convicts were tried and convicted on charges of terrorism and other related illegal activities in The Gambia.

Mr Colley informed the high court that he had no legal representation.

Justice Yamoa, at that juncture, requested for the case file from the Banjul Magistrates Court and later adjourned the case to May 10 for continuation.
