CJ’s nationwide tour postponed

The scheduled nationwide tour by the Chief Justice of The Gambia, His Lordship, Honourable Abdou Karim Savage has been postponed, according to reports from the office of the acting Judicial secretary.

A dispatch send to the Daily Observer yesterday indicated that the postponement is due to the prior engagement of all Chiefs and Regional Governors in a meeting in Banjul.

According to the release, as soon as new dates are fixed, all concerned will be notified.

“Regional Governors, Judges of Regional High Courts, all Magistrates and Cadis, Paramount Chief, District Chiefs, members and officials of District Tribunals and the Chaipersons and members of the Industrial Tribunals, the Children’s Court and the Rent Tribunals and the Inspector General of Police are duly informed” the release concluded.
