Seven hits D198,400 Jackpot

The Gambia National Lottery (GNL) last Friday distributed a cheque amounting D198,400 to seven lucky winners at a presentation ceremony held at its headquarters in Banjul.

The winners, Malick Njie, Pa Ebrima Manneh, Ekudya Smart, Basiru Sanneh, Momodou Marena, Gibril Deen and Jamal Mosses Dankeh, each received D44,345.

Speaking at the ceremony, Malick Sabally, Marketing Assistant, Gambia National Lottery, commended their clients for patronising their products.

According to him this will go a long way in creating opportunities for the youth.

Dembo Fanta Bojang, Managing Director of GNL, said this is another manifestation towards paying their clients whenever they won jackpot.

He thanked the people and called on them to continue playing their products.

Speaking to Daily Observer shortly after receiving his cheque, Gibril Deen, a student at GTTI, said he use to buy GNL games and give it to her sister who normally plays jackpot to play for him.

"I will give part of the money as charity. Also I wish to thank GNL for their outsanding efforts in meeting customers’ satisfactions," he said.

Jamal Mosses Dankeh, a teacher by profession, said he only started playing jackpot few weeks back.

"The first day I started playing was so hard but I had the believe that an opportunity would come at any time. This amount is the highiest amount I have received since I stared playing," he said.
