On Wednesday 24 October, 2007, 19 cured HIV/AIDS patients were discharged after they have successfully undergone President Jammeh’s herbal treatment for a period of nine weeks.
The HIV/AIDS treatment has yet again recorded another breakthrough. Blood samples sent to foreign laboratory for the 4th batch of patients who were under the treatment programme were released yesterday at State House,
The laboratory results revealed that, 19 of the patients were totally cleansed of the HIV/AIDS virus, whilst 3 recorded below 80 copies. Below is the test results of the blood samples of the patients:
It could be recalled that, the treatment of this batch started in August and attracted patients from Guinea Bissau, Guinea
Speaking at a well-attended ceremony, President Yahya Jammeh thanked Allah for given him the knowledge to cure HIV/AIDS. The President also paid tribute to all those who in one way or another supported the programme.
In a landmark speech during the serene ceremony, attended by Secretaries of State, Secretary-General and Head of the Civil Service, Permanent Secretaries, Service Chiefs, the medical team that worked with the President, the CEO of the RVTH, President Jammeh began his speech by thanking the Almighty Allah, Dr Tamsir Mbowe, SoS for Health and Social Welfare and the original medical team, who worked with him throughout this period, to effectively and efficiently administer the treatment of the patients.
President Jammeh reminded the large gathering that today The Gambia’s profile in the medical field is among the best in the world.
It was therefore apparent that when the first CD4 counts results were announced proving the success of President Jammeh’s treatment, that indeed we have picked up a huge fight globally on behalf of The Gambia and humanity. He said that those whose viral loads are not detectable, it does not mean that they are discharged from the treatment. President Jammeh did not say that he cures AIDs, all what he said was that he treats AIDS and gets rid of the virus from the patients’ bodies. He said that it is the viral load that makes one an HIV/AIDS patients and the traditional medicine that is given to them fights the viral load in the patients body. He further stated that the HIV virus have been eliminated in some of the patients and that some of them are free from the virus. He further stated that we now know how long it will take to completely eliminate the virus in the bodies of the patients. He said all medicines have side-effects, but his traditional medicines have no side-effects, noting that all its side-effects are positive.
The successful treatment of these patients, is indeed another testimony among many of the efficacy of President Jammeh’s therapy to treat people who are infected with HIV/AIDS. Indeed, we should all remember that the treatment of HIV/AIDS require passion and sympathy for the patients. From the very beginning, President Jammeh had based his approach to the treatment of HIV/AIDS on these two ethical principles. That is why, during the patients’ treatment, President Jammeh himself apply the medication on the bodies of the patients, touching them, consoling them and re-assuring them that their problems are over as his treatment is certain to eliminate the disease from their system.
It should be borne in mind that President Jammeh’s discovery of the medicine to cure HIV/AIDS, have attracted unjustifiable criticisms by many sceptics, in particular, the so-called western medical practitioners and the western media who have a vested interest in ensuring that no one should claim to have a cure for HIV/AIDS so long as these discoveries are not from the western countries. President Jammeh’s discovery of the medicine to treat HIV/AIDS has proved them wrong as there is now ample evidence as proven by the latest discharge of patients that President Jammeh’s therapy is the latest and the most effective medicine available at the moment for the cure of HIV/AIDS.
The discovery of the treatment for HIV/AIDS by President Jammeh has led to a new global battle against this discovery and for that matter against President Jammeh and the people of The Gambia.
President Jammeh’s success in the cure for HIV/AIDS is monumental. But his humanity has made him to accept their gifts from Allah with utmost humility. President Jammeh is a God-fearing man and he is aware of the rare gifts that the Almighty Allah has bestowed on him. Indeed, it is important that President Jammeh is treating people with HIV/AIDS not because of money, wealth, power or fame but purely as a God-fearing person and his love for humanity. All he does in life, is to please the Almighty Allah and all Gambians can testify to his religious piety as a pure Muslim who is constantly praying to Allah and permanently with the Holy Quran as his companion for life.
President Jammeh is right for his fight against HIV/AIDS and his treatment has without doubt exposed the hypocrisy as a the lip service that is characteristics of the western media. It is therefore, not surprising that when President Jammeh discovered the treatment for this scourge, those who have interest in perpetrating the myth of the incurability of HIV/AIDS will without doubt launch their unwanton propaganda attacks against the Gambian President. This became evident in the cowardly and unfactual attacks launched by the international media, who are all probably under the pay roll of the international drug and pharmaceutical companies.
Indeed, xenophobia in the West has always been responsible for racism and cultural imperialism. The success of President Jammeh and the scientific and medical proofs supporting the results of President Jammeh’s cure for HIV/AIDS, can no longer be doubted.
It should be recalled that since President Jammeh started the therapy to cure HIV/AIDS in January 18, 2007, hundreds of patients have benefited from his treatment. Indeed, President Jammeh is treating people with diseases of this nature and other diseases, such as asthma, hypertention and diabeties.
All the patients are treated on the condition that they are diagnosed by medical practitioners and treated publicly.
The present results are further proofs and indeed a great breakthrough as confirmed by foreign lab test results, is another proof of the efficacy of President Jammeh’s treatment.
This in itself, is a further proof that President Jammeh has scored successful results in the treatment of HIV/AIDS. This efficacy of President Jammeh’s treatment for HIV/AIDS can no longer be disputed. Indeed, if these powers are sincere in their concern to attack the HIV/AIDS pandemic, what they should do is to come and join President Jammeh and collaborate with him to make his treatment available to the whole of humanity. But, the lack of collaboration from the western powers to help address the HIV/AIDS pandemic will not deter President Jammeh from continuing to treat those who suffer from HIV/AIDS, hypertention, diabeties and asthma and infertility. It was on the 15th of August, 2007, when President Jammeh began to treat the fourth batch of patients who registered as HIV/AIDS patients.
Indeed without doubt, President Jammeh is the first person in the world who has found the treament for HIV/AIDS, through traditional medicine and the gift of Allah. The proof of the effectiveness of President Jammeh’s treatment is that although it was claimed by some critics that the patients who were under AVR will die if they stop taking such medications, these have proven critics wrong when President Jammeh asked those patients on ARV to stop taking them. This proved that, the claim of the critics are unfounded and the patients who have abandoned ARV and continued President Jammeh’s treatment have survived and are cleansed of the desease.
Indeed, if President Jammeh’s medication is false, these patients would have die by now. Today they are alive and are living proofs that President Jammeh can get rid of and will get rid of HIV/AIDS.
It should be noted that President Jammeh did not allow any patient to be released until the virus is eliminated from the bodies of the patients. These cases and evidences are quite adequate for us to acclaim President Jammeh as a rare humanitarian who has devoted his life to the services of humanity and to his country.
The discharge of those who have been cleansed of HIV/AIDS by President Jammeh is a testimony that his treatment for HIV/AIDS is real and today those discharged are a vindication and living proofs that President Jammeh through his humanity, love and devotion for Gambians for that matter Africans as a whole, have found the cure for HIV/AIDS. We should therefore not allow Western hypocrisy to confuse us, or deny us these achievements which President Jammeh has secured for Gambians and for all Africans. Today, The Gambia is well-known internationally because of President Jammeh’s breakthrough in the treatment of HIV/AIDS.
President Jammeh has warned us that his treatment is not a vaccination against re-infection. Therefore, fidelity with your partners is a guarantee against re-infection. Today in The Gambia, HIV/AIDS, is no longer an incurable disease, thanks to President Jammeh. President Jammeh has reassured us that he will continue to treat HIV/AIDS, asthma and diabetes and hypertension. We pray that President Jammeh will continue to treat us from this deadly diseases.
We take this opportunity to congratulate President Jammeh, the patients, families, and the whole medical team, who are working with President Jammeh to eliminate this disease. Only Allah can pay back President Jammeh for this gigantic achievement, all for the sake of humanity, the people of The Gambia and for the whole world at large.
Finally, if science is the final arbiter, then the scientific proofs as shown by the various foreign lab tests and results have indeed vindicated President Jammeh, thus no amount of western media misinformation can deter President Jammeh from this crusade against HIV/AIDS.
Also, speaking at the ceremony, Dr Tamsir Mbowe, SoS for Health and Social Welfare, said “We are once again gathered here to witness yet another historic moment in the history of medicine. His Excellency our leader, Dr Alhagie Yahya AJJ Jammeh, a leader with vision, mission and compassion recognised that human values supersede all other values”. He realised that basic health care is so essential that it cannot be regarded as a commodity available to the highest bidder.
He said the greatest contribution that any medical practitioner can make to health, is to make services accessible and affordable to all.
“Health care delivery in The Gambia is one of the cheapest in the world and the best in
Medicine be it traditional, modern, western,
The result I am to read to you were conducted in one of the best laboratories in the world with a viral load of 50 copies/ml and below. These results speak for themselves and they have once again proven to the whole world beyond any doubts that His Excellency Dr Alhagie Yahya AJJ Jammeh’s medical herbs have the potency to treat and cure patients infected and affected with the HIV/AIDS virus.
Dr Mbowe added that “in the same spirit of God will, may I urge the general public to go for voluntary counselling and testing and subsequently join President Jammeh’s treatment services at your earliest opportunity. To the undetectable, I wish you well in your future engagements and hope you will avoid re-infection. On this note Sir, on behalf of the entire Presidential Medical Team, Commander Njie and his staff, my Department of State for Health and Social Welfare, the entire medical family and on my own behalf, I would like to thank and congratulate you for the results and for your continuous support to my Department of State, to health and humanity”.
For his part, Ebrima JT Kujabi, Director of Press and Public Relation said “It is my singular pleasure to once again welcome you to this august gathering which once again marks the release of the latest blood test results of yet another batch of HIV/AIDS patients undergoing treatment by HE President Yahya AJJ Jammeh. The men and women, whose blood test results are today being released, were just some months back in despair about their health, never thinking that they will ever live the life again. They were in a state of doubt about their future and for good reason also, because AIDS is a killer, and when one is told that a killer is in your body system, one could only be expected to be so afraid and scared”.
Today, he said, the very opposite is the case; these men and women are now strong, healthy, jovial and hopeful about their future. “Thanks to Allah for the generous treatment that they have just undergone. We hope these men and women will go about their new, renewed and reinvigorate lives to help develop The Gambia and the countries they hailed from. The President is doing a good service to humankind in this new found treatment, because he is helping people back to their feet, strong and productive. It is worth while that the people whose blood test results are being released today come from countries beyond our borders. This shows that President Jammeh’s generosity knows no boundaries or frontiers. It is for all humankind, irrespective of creed or origins. It is being universally acclaimed. Step by step, this new found treatment for the dreaded sickness will gain round to save more of humankind.
All Gambians and Africans should be proud of this major breakthrough in the history of African medicine, and the men and women here today, those before them and those coming, will remain the incontestable evidence of this historic and major breakthrough in the saving of human lives,” Mr Kujabi said.
He pointed out that Gambians and Africans for that matter should also be proud that this is happening on their land. The President’s treatment for the AIDS disease is an African milestone which has proven sceptics wrong that nothing good comes out of
“Our prayers and good wishes should go to HE the President for his foresight and love of the human race, by bringing this great gift to all human beings. I should particularly use this opportunity to encourage the youths to go and do their test; and if they find out that their positive results should then make the best use of the treatment regime by HE. It is better to know ones status and go forward to seek treatment than to be too late. As the future leaders, your health is of paramount significance as the future development of our country depends on you,” he concluded.
Other speakers included Mariama Botchinz, Fatou Bah, Ansuman Sanneh all patients. The programme was chaired by Dr Mariatou Jallow, Chief Medical Director RVTH.
