I wish to take this opportunity to support the ideas and good statements made by the SoS for Communication, Information and Information Technology about the need for experts and technocrats to contribute immensely to the development of public services like GRTS, rather than criticising the state.

I sincerely urge all Gambians to be patriotic and make efforts towards the development of the nation in order to bring about rapid and sustainable development.  For if we insist on pursuing our personal goals without being mindful of our national objectives and responsibilities, we shall be divided and divided we shall fall.

 I again urge the public services and institutes to be well structured to ensure effective administration and development. Let management jobs be given to those who can deliver well in their related positions. I pray for long life, good health and prosperity, all with God’s guidance, Amen.
