Back and Next - Back and NextUTG students on nationwide tour

Students of the Department of Social Sciences of the University of The Gambia over the weekend began a week long country wide tour.
The tour which brought together some 40 students majority of whom are undertaking studies in politics and development, is aimed at broadening their intellectual horizon on the subject matters as well as equip them with practical knowledge of the state of politics and development in the country.
During the course of the tour, the students will pay courtesy calls on the regional governors, visit rural community development projects and hold breefing sessions with relevant stakeholders in the field of development across the country.
The tour is organised and coordinated by Dr Saja Taal, a senior political science lecturer at the university of The Gambia.
