Lions den Fam, a charitable and humanitarian organisation igniting within the African community, striving to build unity has stormed the waves of The Gambia.
The organisation with its motto ‘organise, centralised and mobilise’ has its foundation rooted in the black consciousness philosophy of Haile Selassie, Marcus Garvey, Prince Immanuel, Steve Biko and other progressive African legends.
Speaking to this reporter, Mrs Lena-Nian, a designer, photographer and marketing officer of the organisation said, LDF was founded in the UK in 2005 by some African brothers as a network of business professionals, and as a Gambian, she decided to came back home to expand the membership of the organisation in the country.
She remarked that LDF is reaching out to positive, working African people, organisations and businesses about the economic life of the African community world wide. She noted that there is a strong urgency to rebuilding the trust within the African community and LDF was built for building unity, promote and support the products, services and events of Africans.
