Two Lads Arraigned For Assault

Modou Sowe and Habib Jallow were on 15th September 2009, arraigned before Magistrate Lamin George of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, charged with assault, causing actual bodily harm.

According to the charge sheet, on 7th August 2009, at Kotu Village, the accused persons jointly assaulted one Yusupha Jarju, by beating him on his head, and thereby causing him actual bodily harm.

Both pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The case was adjourned to 23rd September 2009.
