Tennis association set to turn new page

The Gambia Table Tennis Association is set to put its house in order after some years of dormancy.

The  members of the association are set to meet on Saturday, April 11, at the Independence Stadium, Bakau, to discuss on how best they could revive the association. The table tennis body is yet have a legitimate executive committee in place since the unceremonious departure of Daniel Able-Thomas-led executive couple of years back.

Lilian Owens, a member of the association has told Observer Sports that this weekend’s meeting, which will be held at the table tennis hall, will allow all table tennis players to come together and brainstorm on the way forward for the association that is very keen in reviving the the trade of table tennis in the country.
