Despite being the newest GSM operator in The Gambia, Qcell needs no introduction anywhere in the country. To be sure Qcell is offering a service with a difference, a service that coalesce quality of delivery with value. The supremacy of Qcell is combined with good technical support.

QCell recently unveiled lots of productive services at a corporate reception held at Jama Hall, Kairaba Beach Hotel.

The ceremony was graced by heads of corporate institutions, senior official of the private companies as well as the media.

Considering that Qcell at just few months old is the newest GSM operator in The Gambia, it is certainly growing so quickly. It has become the benchmark of the industry against which other operators will be judged, especially with regard to customer care in which Qcell gets an example for the rest of corporate Gambia. It also combines the dominance of its state-of-the-art 3G system and sophistication for which G3 technology is renowned.

Speaking at the corporate lunching, Muhammed Jah, Chief Executive Officer of Qcell, told his audience that his vision is simple and is to work and benefit his country.

He added that to achieve this, he has to bring best technology to The Gambia, noting that the hallmark of his company’s existence will certainly remain: service, satisfaction and excellence.

With Qcell, you can feel the difference. The same is true for, that with continuously improved customer service, state-of-the-art equipment, high quality administrative staff and workforce; they are the team to beat!

As there is no doubt that Qcell have established the need to put people first in all dealings, the Qcell boss assures that their customers are the key stakeholders in their business.

Today The Gambia can pride itself as being the first country in Sub-Saharan Africa and the second in the entire continent to acquire ‘Third Generation Mobile Communication System (G3).

According to the Qcell chief, he intends to bring more competitive tariff for the benefit of the Gambian public and local indigenous participation so as to cause the economy to grow.

According to Mr Jah, 3G means ‘3rd Generation Mobile Communication System’ and Qcell 3G services can offer you all the services currently bieng offered by the other competitors, like both local and international sms, ring tones, horoscope, roaming etc.

He however revealed that Qcell has added services like video calls, where you see the person talking live, video streaming services, video SMS services, polihponice ring tones, fast internet broadband services, adding that one can watch live international and local news.

CEO Jah pointed that Qcell also offer wide range of product which he said are Qcell mobile phone, Qcell data card, Qcell data router.

He urged people to patronise Qcell to develop The Gambia, assuring that Qcell will continue to unveil new products for its customers and will provide the best and unparalleled service to make you a fully satisfied customer.

Asked about his company’s slogan, ‘Sunu Buss’, meaning ours, Mr. Jah said that what this slogan embodies is in the sense that Gambia is our home. He added that “as in any home, the household must be the foundation and the building blocks for every one, if that home is to remain healthy and standing ready for generation yet to be born.”
