Milan FC Thrash Kerr-gi In S/K East Knock-Out

Milan FC defeated Kerr-gi FC 3-0 in the Serrekunda East Knock-out championship last Sunday 17th October 2009, at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Both teams put up brilliant performances and created wonderful scoring opportunities in front of each other’s goal mouth in the opening minutes of the game, but Milan FC who were more determined and hungry for victory later took control of the game and created dead scoring chances in front of Kerr-gi FC’s goal mouth.

In the 12th minute of the game they opened the scores through Seedy Cham.

Kerr-gi FC fought back and also created some scoring opportunities in front of Milan FC’s goal mouth, but they had failed to make good use of their chances, and thus the first half ended 1-0 in favour of Milan FC.

As action resumed in the second period of the game, Milan FC continued their superb attacking football and mounted more pressure on Kerr-gi FC’s defence line and in the 52nd minute of the game they increased the score line through Daddy Saho.

Papa Saliff Badjie made it 3-0 for Milan FC in the 73rd minute of the game.

Earlier on the same day, at 3pm kick-off, Eden Boarders FC defeated Culture FC by 5-4 on post match penalty shoot-out after 90th minute of play ended 0-0.
