Bakau Knock-Out Fixtures Release

The Bakau Zonal Sports Committee has released the fixtures of the 2009\10 knock-out involving 16  teams that are preparing for what could be described as mouth-watering encounters as all the teams would be hoping to avoid defeat in order to progress to the next stage of the competition.

Linguere FC that endured an embarrassing performances in the ongoing league competition have failed in their effort to retain the title they won last summer, and would have to put up an extraordinary performance if they want to eliminate the “in-form hotel club” Sea View that secured top spot in the group stage of the ongoing league competition when the two sides meet tomorrow.

Linguere have not won the knock-out championship since the inception of the club, but they are still optimistic of turning the tie in their favour.

Saul Samba that have not been doing well in the league will face Mamakoto as part of the second knock-out encounter which would be played on Wednesday. Both sides are already aware of the fact that a defect would certainty see them kick-out-of the competition.

Kachically United and KWT will also be involved in another encounter when the two sides lock horns with each other in their what could be referred to as another titanic knock-out encounter.

The Crocodile Poll boys as they are commonly called, headed by Sainey Jarju are enjoying a spectacular run of form of late, but they need to re-adjust their chemistry so that they can maintain their recent good run of form.

The forth game of the knock-out championship will be played between Batankoto and the Academy Boys Njogu Demba that have been struggling to replicate the form which earned them a place in the Nawetan where they are making their first appearance. Milan FC would also entertain Scantours in what would be referred to as a do-or- die affairs for both teams when they meet in the knock-out competition.

Vidar and Junior Arms will play in other knock-out game the Bakau Mini-Stadium while Unique FM will have to wait before knowing their opponent between Luniburg and Vietnam Border that were locking horns with each other at the time of going to the press.
