Kebba S. Touray is Gambia’s New Ambassador to Spain

His Excellency, President Alhagie Dr. Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh, has appointed Mr. Kebba S. Touray as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Spain, with concurrent accreditation to Italy, Portugal, Malta, Greece, Turkey, the FAO and IFAD, The Point can confirm.

Mr. Touray, who until his new appointment was the Chief Executive of the Gambia Investment Promotion and Free Zones Agency (GIPFZA), has a wealth of experience in the field of finance, investment promotion, private sector development and management. Prior to his appointment at GIPFZA, Mr. Touray served several years in the Gambia Public Transport Corporation (GPTC). He has a Bachelors degree from City College of London and an MBA in Finance from Maastricht School of Management.

Mr. Touray’s appointment has been welcomed by many as a positive development.
