I would like to use your forum to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed State House press officer, Karamo Sambou.
He and I go a long way back to the days of the Gambia College and subsequently the University of the Gambia. I am a graduate of the University of The Gambia, living in the United States with my family. It makes me proud when I read about my colleagues making progress in The Gambia.
It is a vindication of our trust in the highest level of education we achieve through that noble institution despite the odds. More grease to your elbow, Karamo. I hope you will make us all proud as members of the UTG alumni; home and abroad.
