Back and Next - Back and Next3 weeks imprisonment for chicken thief

One Lamin Dumbuya of Brufut was yesterday convicted for stealing 10 chickens value at D1000 by the Brikama Magistrate Court presided over by Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh.
According to the police prosecutor, Corporal Kinteh, the accused on 12 February, in Brufut stole the said chickens from one Ramatoulie Touray and took them to Serrekunda for sale, but was unfortunately arrested.
At that juncture, the magistrate sentenced the accused to 3 weeks imprisonment after pleading guilty. Magistrate Jammeh also ordered the police to return back the 10 chickens to the lawful owner.
