As part of their weekly draw in the course of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Gamcel, the country’s national GSM service provider, last Friday, conducted its second weekly draw of 100 bags of rice to 100 lucky winners.

According to Kebba Bojang, senior manager, sales/marketing, Gamcel, it is an obligation in the Holy Month of Ramadan for a Muslim to be kind and share whatever good they have with their fellow Muslims. To this, he said, Gamcel cannot be an exception, that is why Gamcel is giving out 100 bags of rice every Friday in the form of a raffle draw.

He added that the procedure involved to be part of the draw is simple; you just load any amount of Gamcel credit and you will be part of the raffle draw. For her part, Ramou Nyass Hydara, customer care manager of the GSM company, said they had promised their customers that they would be conducting a weekly draw by giving out 100 bags of rice until the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan. She reminded the gathering that they had already given out 200 bags of rice and that they have 200 bags more to be given out over the next two weeks.

“We conduct our raffle draws transparently,” she said.
Madam Hydara explained that the draws were categorised into three groups. The first 40 numbers, she said, were for those who bought D100 scratch card denominations, and the next 30 for those who bought D50 scratch card denomination, and the following 30 numbers for those who bought D20 credit card denomination.

She urged their customers to load more Gamcel credit in order to increase their chances of winning.
