Gambia international Edrissa Sonko scored a fascinating volley to help his English League One side, Tranmere Rovers, to their first away win in the league since February as they beat Huddersfield Town 2-1 on Saturday.

Rovers went a goal down on 17th minutes to Liam Dickinson's well placed free kick and came under fierce Huddersfield pressure towards the end of the first half.
Rovers’s goalkeeper Danny Coyne made crucial close range saves from Dickinson and Nathan Clarke to prevent the his side from going further behind.

Then Tranmere stunned the home crowd with a spectacular equaliser on 39th minutes from Edrissa Sonko, who volleyed home from 20 yards after Chris Greenacre chested down a high ball from Ian Goodison.

Ryan Shotton, a defender on loan from Stoke City, powered home the winner with a header from Andrew Taylor's left wing free kick four minutes after the restart.
