Who will assist Fatou Mbye?

Fatou Mbye, aged 5, was born with imperforatedd anus on metroagine fistula. Since then she had been regular at the out patient wing of the RVTH for four years.

Actual examination was conducted by Dr Norma Pelaez a pediatric surgeon at RVTH which reveals that recto-vaginal fistula is very deep and need abdomino perineal operation. Physical examination shows she had colostomy and imperforated anus.

Fatou’s parents are poor and could not afford to pay for the overseas treatment recommended by the RVTH board. The treatment is even possible in a Dakar hospital in Senegal.
