Day of judgement

The day of judgement cannot take place until everyone has died. When there is no living thing left on this earth. Our deeds will be accounted for on this day-between us and Allah, and between one another. That is why those who are dead should wait for the other creatures who are still living until they die for this special day.

When every living creative has gone to the Final Destination (Al Aheera), the Holy Quran is explaining that our dwelling places on this earth will not be left here too. On this last Day of Judgement everyone will rise, no matter where or how you died, and when. Then we will have another meeting place. it is done on one day called the Day of Judgement. All of us will be present.

Abi Hurairata narrated in a Hadith that a man told his family that he wants them to incinerate him so that he will not be present on the Day of Judgement. The Hadith states: “A man sinned greatly against himself, and when death came to him he charged his sons, saying; when I have died, burn me, then crush me and scatter (my ashes) into the sea, for, by Allah, if my Lord take possession of me, he will punish me in a manner in which He has punished no one (else). So they did that to him. That he said to the earth: produce what you have taken - and there he was! And He said to him: What induce you to do what you did? He said: Being afraid of you.

O my Lord (or he said: Being frightened of you) and because of that He forgave him”.

According to the Quran, it is narrated in Sura An’am V.12 that Allah said: “Everyone from Adam will all gather in front of Him:”. It states: “Say: To whom belong All that is in the heavens and on earth? Say to Allah He had inscribed for himself (the rule of mercy) that He will gather you together for the Day of Judgement, there is no doubt whatever, it is they who have lost their own souls, that will not believe”.

The Quran narrated in different verses the same things, because Allah wants people to understand “His seriousness”. Sura Nisai V87: States: “Allah! There is no God but He; of a surety He will gather you together on the Day of Judgement, About which there is no doubt, and whose word can be true than Allah’s?”

Sura Qaf V.41 - 44 states: “And listen the day when the caller will call out from a place quite near, the day when they will Hear a (Mighty) Blast In (very) truth; that will be the Day of Resurrection.

Verily it is we who give life and death: and to us is the final return.

The day when the Earth will be rent asunder; letting them hurrying out; that will be a gathering together Quite easy for us.”

Sura Naml V.87 states:” and the day that the trumpet will be sounded - then will be smitten with terror those who are in the heavens, and those who are on earth, except such as Allah will please (to exempt): and all shall come to him in utter humility.”

After everyone is gone, the Quran narrates how Allah will also take away thing that we left behind. Sura Infitar states in V1 - 5: that:” when the Sky is cleft asunder.

When the stars are scattered when the oceans are suffered to burst forth and when the graves are turned upside down.

(Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back”.

Sura Inshiqaq V.1 - 5 states: “When the Sky is rent asunder and hear kens to (the command of) its Lord - and it must needs (do so); and when the Earth is flattened out, and casts forth what is within it and be comes (clean) empty).

And hear kens to (the command of) its Lord and it must needs (do so); - (then will come home the full reality).”

This sura refers to “the uprooting which will take place when the world has ended”.

Sura Zilzal states in V.1 - 5: “When the Earth is shaken, to her (utmost) convulsion, and the Earth throws up Her burdens (from within) and man cries (distressed); what is the matter with her? on the day will she declare her tidings.

For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration”.

The Quran mentioned in its verses many times to remind man to do what he is brought to this earth for so that Allah will reward him tomorrow on the Day of Judgement. Sura Hashr V.18 - 19 States: “O ye who believe! fear Allah, and let every soul look to what (provision) he has sent for th for the morrow, yea, fear Allah for Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do.

And be ye not like those who forget Allah; and He made them forget themselves! such are the rebellious transgressors”.

The evil doers will suffer on this day as stated in Sura Hajj V.1 - 2: “O mankind! Fear your Lord! for the convulsion of the hour (of judgement) will be a thing terrible.

The day ye shall see it, every mother giving suck shall forget her suckling - babe, and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): thou shalt see mankind asin a drunken riot, yet not drunk; but dreadful will be the chastiscment of Allah”.

On the authority of the son of umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: “the messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) took me by the shoulder and said:

“Be in the world as though you were a stranger or a wayfarer.

The son of Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say:

At evening do not except (to live till) morning, and at morning do not expect (to live till) evening. Take from your health for your illness and from your life for your death”.

Narrated by Al-Bukhari.
