The Gambia Cricket Association is seeking financial assistance to enable them take part in the forthcoming North-West Africa Cricket Championship scheduled to take place in Nigeria between April and April 11, 2008.
A press release issued by the cricket association, stated that The Gambia has been invited to participate in the Nigeria championships as well as the ICC-ACA World Cricket League Division Three Tournament scheduled for mid April in Benoni, South Africa.
The release revealed that the association is preparing ahead of the championships, but may not realise their desire to participate if it’s not supported financially.
