According to the particulars of the alleged offence, the accused on 20thOctober 2008 at Abuko sold a kilo of meat to one Landing Kujabi at D100 when instead it should be D80. He denied the charge.

Meanwhile he was granted court bail in the sum of D10, 000 with a Gambian surety.

The case was adjourned to 16thNovember 2008.

In a separate development one Ebrima Khadim was also arraigned at the Bundung Magistrates’ Court for stealing a generator, a charge he denied.

It was alleged that in the year 2005 at Sancheba the accused stole a generator valued at D30, 000 the property of one Mamadi Manneh.

Meanwhile he was granted court bail in the sum of D40, 000 with a Gambian surety.

The case was adjourned to 17thNovember 2008.
