Thursday, December 13, 2007
As Christmas is just at the corner, St. Joseph’s Ex-Pupils, on Tuesday, staged its annual Christmas play at the school grounds. The ceremony was attended by parents and teachers from various schools and students. Speaking to the Daily Observer shortly after the theatre performance, Mrs Rohey C Sanneh, a senior teacher, explained that since 1986 they have been acting this christmas play in the school. She added that the children should feel the coming of Christmas. She went on to say that children are the people who are most welcome in the Lord Jesus Christ’s empire. She then added that Christ came to save the world, to bring unity for us to share a common destiny. “This can bring unity among children from different religions and tribes,” she concluded.
