Fire scare in Yiringanya

Residents living around the Latri Kunda Yiringanya Lower Basic Scchool (popularly called Danso School) were yesterday sent into a state a panic by a fire scare.

The hysteria was aroused by a dense cloud of smoke which was spiralling from a big rubbish heap that person(s) unknown had set afire.

The situation was only calmed when the fire service were called and arrived at the scene, where many spectators also gathered to gaze at what had set a whole community aflutter.
