10-Month-Old Child in Need of Overseas Treatment

Like every mother, Chiameka Egeonu’s mother would also like to see her child grow and contribute her quota to the socio-economic development of The Gambia.

However, her situation as it is, it may be difficult for Chiameka’s mother to realize her dreams if nobody come to the aid of her 10-month-old child.

Chiameka has a history of seizure and increment of the head since she was four months old.

Upon seeing that, her mother took her to the Family Planning clinic but was referred to the RVTH where Chiameka was admitted.

According to a medical certificate endorsed by the Director of Health Services, Dr. Mariatou Jallow, the circumference of Chiameka’s head is 51cm and would continue to increase if…

She is currently suffering from ventricular peritoneal stunt and therefore needs to under an urgent overseas treatment.
