One Essa Manneh, was on Monday arraigned before Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake of the Kanifing Magistrates Court on charges of stealing. Magistrate Abdoulie Mbacke of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court has sent one Abdoulie Dem to jail. Abdoulie was found guilty of stealing 180,000 CFA from a certain lady at the Banjul ferry terminal and was, therefore, sentenced to serve twelve months in jail with hard labour.

Fraudster gets five years

Magistrate Kayodeh Olajubutu of the Banjul Magistrates Court, last Thursday, sentenced, one Yahya Taban to a fine of D226,000, in default to serve 5 years imprisonment.
