R1.65 petrol cut likely

ANOTHER petrol price cut of about R1.65 a litre is on the cards for next Wednesday (December 3) provided nothing dramatic happens to the price of oil or the rand. The Department of Minerals and Energy said it would happen if the daily over-recovery remained at or above the November 21 level. This would bring the total cut to R3.39/l since the retail petrol price peaked at R10.70/l in July in Gauteng.
