Division over EC primary schools tests

PRIMARY schools have just four days to complete the mandatory Foundations For Learning numeracy and literacy tests rolled out by the national Department of Education this April. Grade 1 to Grade 6 pupils in the Eastern Cape are being tested on their levels of achievement . Cambridge Primary School principal Neil McIntyre said the standardised tests should be encouraged.
