SOMALIA: Cutting charcoal use in urban Somaliland

HARGEISA Monday, November 17, 2008 (IRIN) - Authorities in Somalia's self-declared republic of Somaliland have embarked on efforts to reduce charcoal use in urban areas to curb deforestation, officials said.
