EAC’s bid to integrate regional bond market

Plans to establish a single regional bond market are underway to enhance corporate sector access to long-term funds.At Thursday’s East African Community (EAC) regionalisation and bond markets workshop, held at Safari Park Hotel, stakeholders agreed on the need to improve performance and eventually integrate the bond markets of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.
