Clement Ifeanyi Obiorah, the Nigerian national who was arrested at the Banjul International Airport on suspicion of attempting to smuggle cocaine, would reappear before magistrate Edrisa Mbai in November as his case suffered yet another setback on Thursday.

Clement’s case was adjourned to November 8th following the failure of his attorney to show up in court.

It would be recalled that the accused was apprehended at the airport after ‘swallowing’ 797g of cocaine.

In another news, the trial of another Nigerian national, Samuel Nwaiwu, could not proceed on Thursday when it resumed before magistrate Edrisa Mbai for continuation.

Samuel is being tried over allegation of swallowing 1kg and 427g of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
