A British Philanthropist, Mr Samuel Smith, recently donated a milling machine to the people of Tujereng village in Kombo South in the Western region. The item is worth 25,000 Dalasi.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony the donor said the gesture is geared developing the standard of living of the people of Tujereng.
He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the milling machine and express his readiness to continue to support the people if the need arises.
Receiving the item the Secretary General Tujereng VDC, Mr Modou Bojang, praised Samuel Smith for his valuable and benevolent gesture adding that the donation will go a long way towards helping women in the village. He concluded by assuring the donor that the milling machine will be put to very good use.
