Pa Modou Sarr memorial tourney updates

Old Hands beat Jeshwang 52 to 23 points in their Wednesday encounter as the basketball tournament in the memory of the late basketballer, Pa Modou Sarr, progresses at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.

SK East earlier overcame YMCA  in the opening match on Monday before Vitalait also joined the winners’ list after a hard fourth win over Lamin.  The two sides took up to thrilling encounter before Vitalait prevailed with 39 points against Lamin’s 32

Abdoulie Secka, a member of the Organising Committee, is pleased with the current state of the competition. As a remembrance tournament, Secka is delighted that teams are exercise high sense of discipline and sportsmanship.
