Hawks came from behind to beat embattled Bakau United 2-1 on Friday to move up to fourth position in the national league table.
After a lacklustre first-half encounter, Bakau United’s Musa Lowe opened the scoring two minutes into the resumption. Hawks ensued a level score two minutes after, when Yusupha Camara tapped in an equaliser from a goalkeeper rebound, and Omar Sarr’s striker rounded the game up for Hawks in the stoppage time.
Elsewhere on Friday, Armed Forces put an end to their shaky run with a 2-1 win against Gamtel at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.
