Brufut, Others in Second Round

Brufut FC defeated Lamin 2-0 in a game full of drama to book a place in the second round of the third division qualifiers organised for teams in the Western Region.
 
Despite playing at home Lamin could not contain the Brufut side, which proved to be too strong.  In the 20th minute, Brufut took the lead through Lamin Jatta with Ousman Bojang netting two minutes later to seal the victory.

Black and White FC, Tanji FC and Freedom FC all booked their place in the second round where they will battle for a chance to represent Western Region in the GFA third Division qualifiers for a spot in the Second Division.
