Wallidan battle Samger in Super Cup final on Sunday

The Gambia double champions Wallidan FC will take on last season’s league runners up, Samger, in the GFA Super Cup final scheduled for Sunday, February 15, at the Brikama mini-stadium.

The traditional final, which normally pits the league champions against the FA Cup winners, will also serve as the curtain-raiser for the new league season, which will commence on February 20. Both Wallidan and Samger have recently withdrawn from the 2009 CAF competitions citing financial constraints.
