Murder Trial to Resume Next Week

The trial of a certain Demba Cham on suspicion of attempting to commit murder will resume next week at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.

Demba was, in August of 2007, arraigned before the Brikama Magistrates’ Court for ‘attempting to kill’ one Binta Njie in Busumbala village by hunching and then pressed her until she defecated.

He denies the allegations and the case continues.
