Ndoiole Njie to storm Gambia

Information reaching Arts and Culture has it that the ebullient and undisputable queen of cultural mix, Senegalese Mbalax  star, Ndoiole Njie, alias "Borom Bonde", is set to storm Banjul with the full force of her musical band.

According to the information relayed to  the Arts and Culture desk, the band will arrive in the Gambia early next week and will stage musical performances at the prestigious first class Milly"’s Night Club, just opposite the TafBel Hotel in Senegambia, Kololi, from 4th to 5th July, 2008.

Jarika Jobe, proprietor and manager of Milly’s Night Club,  and Mr Saho, Marketing Manager of the newly established House of Production, a multimedia and consultancy company, both confirmed the story. The duo decribed the forthcoming musical jamboree as a must  for all artistic and music lovers to attend and added that the night will be characterised by an extensive exhibition of artistic and music talent by both the visiting Senegalese star and their Gambian counterparts.

Mr Jobe further revealed that Milly’s Night Club is a cultural hub, which hosts performing artists on reqular basis, especially weekends.

“The place is a cross-cutting multi-cultural centre for every one,’” he concluded.
