Testimony in 180,000 CFA Case

The first prosecution witness in the trial of one Abdoulie Dem has already given his testimony in the case, revolving around 180,000 CFA.

In his evidence, the first prosecution witness informed the court that he was in a ferry on the day in question when he saw Dem snatch a lady’s bag.

“People were, at the time, many in the ferry but the suspect was subsequently arrested after taking flight. He had confessed in a motel that he used part of the 180,000 CFA contained in the bag to buy furniture,” said the witness.
