The appeal case involving Tabara Samba, a Senegalese national, was yesterday December 11, adjourned to December 19, by Justice Yamoa at the High Court in Banjul.
Tabara Samba is appealing against a judgement made by Pa Harry Jammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates Court, convicting and sentencing her to death for the murder of her late husband by pouring hot oil on him some time this year.
When the case was mentioned, Mrs Amie Joof-Conteh announced her representation for the accused. She took the opportunity to serve the state counsel, Merley Wood with a file copy of the case from the Kanifing Magistrates Court. Mrs Joof-Conteh also informed the court about her intention to make an application to the court with regards to the case.
Justice Yamoa at that juncture adjourned the case to December 19 for continuation.
